Working as an independent contractor, I’ve overseen a multi-year engagement with OceanX, the world’s leading ocean exploration and research non-profit. Founded by Ray Dalio, OceanX’s mission is brought to life through the OceanXplorer, the most advanced research vessel in the world and subject of the Disney+ series OceanXplorers.

 

EXPLORE WHAT MATTERS

For World Ocean Week in 2021, I created the “Explore What Matters” digital campaign, which sought to redirect public interest in space exploration to the deep sea, humanity’s real final frontier. Our social media assets garnered thousands of likes and very passionate commentary from the ocean lovers and space trolls alike.

REEF FRAME YOUR WORLD

In 2023 during Climate Week, I consulted with them on a coral reef awareness campaign. I proposed “Reef Frame Your World,” an idea built around showing how healthy reefs support life on land. The work ran as a subway takeover across New York City, with placements in stations, walkways, and on trains. It drove tens of thousands of New Yorkers, many of whom had little prior interest in reefs, to a campaign site that demonstrated the real link between reef health and human wellbeing.
